Ilonggo midfielder John Celiz led Green Archers United with four goals in their 9-0 win over Global Makati FC last Sunday in the 2019 Philippines Football League (PFL) at the PFF National Training Center in Carmona, Cavite.
The Barotac Nuevo native earned his poker in the first half, putting the Archers up 2-0 after scoring goals in the 13th and 18th minute. He then single-handedly made it 4-0 off goals in the 39th and 45th minute.
In the second half, midfielder Marvin Angeles extended the Green Archers’ lead with a goal in 52nd minute. Defender Fredy Mbang then put the lead side up 6-0 in the 55th minute.
Angeles then earned a brace in the 62nd minute, with defender Roykent Bedia closing out the match with goals in the 80th and 90th minutes.
The win placed Green Archers third on the PFL table, five points adrift of first place Ceres-Negros FC and second place Kaya FC-Iloilo./ASC, WDJ
