A suspected thief was arrested by members of Police Station 1 (PS1) over the weekend after he reportedly caused a scene along Rosario Street in Bacolod City’s Barangay 32.
Police identified the suspect John Rey Aguda, a resident of Purok Maghili-ugyon in the city’s Barangay 35.
PS1 commander, Police Major Jovil Sedel, said they received a call from residents claiming Aguda was causing a ruckus in the area.
Recovered from the suspect was a pin gun with two live .38 caliber bullets.
Sedel added, Aguda has a history with their station as a “notorious thief.”
The suspect faces illegal possession of firearms charges and is detained at PS1./DGB, WDJ
