Orola: The period between 2016 and 2019 was the ‘honeymoon stage’

By Dominique Gabriel G. Bañaga

Bacolod City administrator, Atty. John Orola, who was recently reappointed to the post, said it is “high time” to implement city programs, calling the last three years at the job the “honeymoon stage.”
The Collins English Dictionary defines honeymoon stage, or “honeymoon period,” as “a period of popularity enjoyed by a new government.”
Orola said his “new task” is to concentrate on the delivery of basic services. He enumerated those responsibilities as the provision of housing, water, education, and livelihood training.
Also included on the list were “sports and the environment.”/DGB, WDJ
