Negros Business Week, an event featuring over 30 local entrepreneurs from across Negros Occidental, recently opened at Robinsons Place Bacolod and will run until next Wednesday, July 17. Participants will be showcasing and selling various products.
Negros Occidental Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson opened the event, which is organized by the Metro Bacolod Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MBCCI), in partnership with the Negros Occidental Provincial Government and the Department of Science and Technology.
In his address, the governor acknowledged the role MBCCI plays in supporting small business and expressed his optimism in the potential of local products on the global market.
Also present at this weekend’s opening were Philippines Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) Regional Governor Donna Rose Ratilla, PCCI Regional Executive Director Mark Inayan, MBCCI President Roberto Montelibano, MBCCI Chief Executive Officer Frank Carbon, Negros Occidental Provincial Tourism Officer Cristine Mansinares, among others./WDJ
