Eight local players

set to compete

Eight players from the Western Visayas are set to compete in the 95th NCAA men’s basketball season, which kicks off this weekend.
University of Perpetual Help System DALTA-Atlas boasts three players from the region with Edgar Charcos from Iloilo, Lance Jomalesa of Bacolod City, and Nathaniel Sevilla of Talisay City. Both Negrense players joined the squad from the De La Salle Santiago Zobel School.
De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde will also see three local players suit up for their team, namely, Iloilo City native Edward Dixon, Yankie Haruna of Pototan, and Chris Flores from Bago City.
Meanwhile, Ilonggo player Clint Doliguez returns with San Beda University and Negrense player Spencer Pretta is back in action with Lyceum of the Philippines University./ASC, WDJ
