Negrense taekwondo athletes win gold

Negros Taekwondo Union-Tigers athletes recently took home six medals, including five golds, from the 2019 National Poomsae Championships, which took place at the SM Mall of Asia Entertainment Music Hall in Pasay City. Poomsae is comprised of basic attack and defense motions associated with the martial art.
Among the gold medals winners included Jamie Hannah Agaloos of Bacolod City in the black belt division of the individual female cadet category, Ceanne Kyle Rosquillo in the brown belt division of the senior men’s category, Toni Marie Merida in the blue belt division of the individual senior female category, and Cydric Rosas in the blue belt division of the individual boys’ cadet category.
Agaloos, a Tangub Christian Academy student, also won gold in the synchronized team event.
