At least half a million pesos worth of suspected shabu were seized yesterday morning following a Police Station 3 (PS3) buy-bust operation at the San Mateo Village in Bacolod City’s Barangay Banago.
Police identified the arrested suspect as 35-year-old Ramel Mationg, a resident of Zone 5 in Talisay City.
Also arrested were 32-year-old Medjor Dairo, a resident of Barangay Bata, Bacolod City; and 25-year-old Robert Los Bañes, a resident of Zone 4A in Talisay City.
PS3 commander, Police Major Ruel Culanag, said Mationg is listed as a high-value drug target by Talisay City police, while both Dairo and Bañes served as Mationg’s drug runners.
Police recovered a total of 11 sachets of suspected shabu with a combined weight of 40 grams, drug paraphernalia, and the P500 marked money.
All three face illegal drugs charges and are presently detained at PS3./DGB, WDJ
