A 3.0-magnitude was detected north of Ibajay early yesterday morning.
According to reports, the tremor struck the Aklan municipality around 12:21 a.m.
A subsequent Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology bulletin reported no damages nor were there aftershocks expected.
Earthquakes that range between 3.0 and 3.9 in magnitude are considered between a Level II and III, where a few people feel the tremor, particularly those on the upper floors of buildings.
Last week, A 3.0-magnitude was detected south of Basay, with the epicenter pinpointed in the waters off the coast of the Negros Oriental town.
No damages were reported following the tremor, nor were there aftershocks expected./WDJ
