Five Ceres FC players called up for national duty

With the Philippine national football team, the Azkals, set to take on their Chinese counterparts in an international friendly tonight in Guangzhou, China, five members of the Ceres-Negros FC have been called up to the squad.
Among those selected from the Bacolod City-based football club include midfielders Stephan Schröck and Carli de Murga, defenders Álvaro Silva and Mike Ott, and striker Curt Dizon.
In addition, former Ceres players, midfielder Kevin Ingreso and winger Patrick Reichelt, also made the Azkals roster.
Meanwhile, the Azkals are also preparing for the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualification competition for the Asian Football Confederation, which begins in September./ASC, WDJ
