The commander of the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) in Bacolod City has officially stepped down after almost a year at the post.
Commander Ludovico Librilla was relieved from duty effective last Thursday and promoted to acting commander for the PCG in Negros Oriental and deputy commander of the PCG-Southern Visayas.
Librilla is replaced by Lieutenant Rockcliff Buling, who previously served as PCG station commander in Siquijor.
In a radio interview, Librilla thanked the people of the city and Negros Occidental for their cooperation.
Librilla was promoted to the rank of commander earlier this year and was expected to be relieved from his Bacolod City post./DGB, WDJ
