Business process outsourcing firm TeleQuest Voice Services recently hosted a neon dance party for their employees.
“We hold special theme activities such as Floral Day, Back to School, and, now, Disco Night,” explained Director Piper Esguerra. “During these activities, their creative juices flow and they become more enthusiastic about what they do.”
“A lot of things could happen in a few days in operations and we know it [can] be stressful,” she added. “[This is] our way of keeping our team grounded and motivated.”
Senior Operations Manager Jazz Albert said such activities offer employees both a chance for a respite and to bond with colleagues.
“Hardworking employees need the opportunity to let their hair down and unwind,” the senior officer stated. “By providing social and unique events, the company offers opportunities for agents to meet and strengthen bonds with fellow agents whom they might not interact with on a regular basis.”
“We want our agents to work happy and not dragging themselves to work because they are required,” they added.
The firm is currently in its sixth year in Bacolod City./WDJ
