The Future Tourism Leaders Camp saw around 41 delegates from across the Western Visayas gather for a three-day event on the tourism sector.
The activity is an initiative by the Department of Tourism-Region VI (DOT) that seeks to raise awareness, engage the youth, and provide a venue for involvement with the tourism sector.
According to DOT-6 supervising tourism operations officer, Atty. Sedfrey Cabaluna, San Carlos City came highly recommended as a venue for its sustainable tourism practices, which he believes would offer valuable learning experiences.
Lectures and workshops will cover topics such as personality development and communications, feature and news writing, basic acting, organizing seminars and events, and maximizing social media in photography./DGB, WDJ
