After being placed on alert for last week’s midterm elections, Police Regional Office-6 (PRO-6) personnel will remain on “full alert” status in preparation for the upcoming 2019-2020 academic year, which begins on June 3.
PRO-6 director, Police Brigadier General John Bulalacao, said full alert status will ensure there are no incidents that may hinder the opening of classes.
The law enforcement official said they have adopted maximum security coverage for all places of convergence such as shopping malls and transport terminals.
Cops in the region were also ordered to strategically place police assistance desks in order to respond to emergencies, along with assisting with traffic flow during the opening of classes./DGB, WDJ
