Negrense athletes medal in track and field

The Western Visayas Private Schools Athletic Association (WVPRISAA) picked up several medals in the 2019 PRISAA National Games track and field events over the past couple of days at the University of Mindanao oval in Davao City.
Arjay Mendrez of the University of St. La Salle (USLS) won gold in the tertiary men’s 100-meter dash, while Western Institute of Technology’s Ezel Divinagracia captured gold in the tertiary women’s 400-meter hurdles.
Meanwhile, silver medalists included Edilyn Batiancilla of USLS in tertiary shot put, Antonette Jay Aguillon of Bacolod Tay Tung High School in secondary girls’ long jump, Thanya Ibasco of the University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos in tertiary women’s discus throw, and Renzy Gamolaga of St. Therese-MTC Colleges in tertiary men’s discus throw./ASC, WDJ

Antonette Jay Aguillon of Bacolod Tay Tung High School, competing for the WVPRISAA, won silver in the 2019 PRISAA National Games secondary girls’ long jump event.
