Ateneo de Manila University (AdMU) and the University of Santo Tomas (UST) play the decider in the UAAP Season 81 women’s volleyball finals today, May 18, at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.

After UST took Game 1, 3-0; AdMU replied with a 3-1 win in Game 2. The subsequent Game 3 is scheduled to begin at 3:30 p.m.

“We’re not going to go down without a fight,” said AdMU’s Madeleine Madayag. “That’s what we all told each other and that’s what we ask [of] the Lord.”

For UST’s Cherry Rondina, she hopes the team perseveres all the way to the end.

“Sabi nga ‘Whatever it takes;’ doon at doon na lang ang kaya so push na lang hanggang matapos ‘yung liga na ‘to (As the saying goes, ‘Whatever it takes;’ that’s all we can do so we will push until the end of this league,” she said./ASC, WDJ
