Negros Occidental Governor-elect Eugenio Jose Lacson offered his appreciation for his success in last Monday’s midterm elections with a faith-infused message.
“May God send us his healing from divisiveness,” he said. “May God continue to bless our beloved province.”
“With the guidance of almighty God, and the cooperation from our people, we can realize our dreams,” the governor-elect added.
He also characterized the support he received throughout his campaign as “sacred.”
Lacson won the governorship handily after defeating Dacongcogon Farmers Producers Cooperative chair, Atty. Rolando Parpa, 805,010 votes to 44,590./DGB, WDJ
