Talisay City volleyball player Melody Pons will be heading to Far Eastern University (FEU) once she completes her high school education at Rafael B. Lacson Memorial High School.

“I [have been] joining FEU’s practices during summers [over] the last two years,” she said. “In fact, FEU wanted me to transfer and continue my high school there but I followed the advice of my coach in Talisay City to finish my secondary degree first [at Rafael B. Lacson Memorial High School].”

Pons also discussed plans on switching playing position.

“I am really a spiker but I chose to play as libero,” she explained. “I expect to return to my original position at FEU.”
