At least three homes were gutted yesterday morning following a fire at the Henrietta Village in Bacolod City’s Barangay Singcang-Airport.

Based on initial investigations by the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), the fire reportedly started at the home of Wilfredo Dela Cruz and immediately spread to neighboring homes.

The local BFP, along with volunteer fire units, managed to douse the blaze within minutes of their arrival.

Authorities estimated the damage at P100,000.

Arson investigators are probing the cause of the blaze.

Last month, at least 21 homes were destroyed following a blaze in a residential area of the same barangay.
