Absentee voting for NOPPO personnel begins

Absentee voting for Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office (NOPPO) personnel began yesterday at Camp Alfredo Montelibano, Sr. in Bacolod City’s Barangay Estefania. Voting ends tomorrow, May 1.

“We give importance to the voice of our personnel during elections because I know it’s their right,” said NOPPO director, Police Colonel Romeo Baleros.

Under Commission on Elections Resolution No. 10443, government officials and employees, including members of the Armed Forces of the Philippines and the Philippine National Police (PNP), who are registered to vote may cast ballots for national positions in places where they are not registered but have been assigned to conduct election day duties.

There are currently 746 registered voters among the PNP./DGB, WDJ
