The Rotary Club of Gugweon, based in South Korea, turned over P2.2 million worth of automotive equipment last month, which will be used by Sagay National High School for their automotive servicing vocational-technical courses.
“We can now push through [with] upgrading their technical skills,” said School Principal Rene Encabo.
The turnover was part of a partnership between the Rotary Club of Gugweon, Rotary Club of Bacolod North-Sinigayan, and the Sagay City government.
“My hope is, with the successful project that comes here in the city of Sagay, our students will have a brighter future and the city will mark the presence of Rotary and the people of Sagay will embrace Rotarians as their partner for progress in education, health, and economic development,” said Rotary International District 3850 Governor Lindon See Diet./WDJ
