University of the Philippines (UP) setter Ma. Arielle Estrañero said she is ready to “move on” after UP was eliminated from the UAAP Season 81 women’s volleyball “Final 4” race.
“As a senior and a graduating student in UAAP, I can’t say that I’m disappointed,” said the Bacolod City native. “Of course, there is frustration, you feel a little bad cause you wanted to reach, at least, the ‘Final 4.’”
“I can cry; I can, like, feel bad but, at the end of the day, I still have to move on with my life and, at least, think about what’s next for me in my volleyball career,” she added.
Estrañero has one final match coming up with UP facing Adamson University on April 27.
“We’ll be working over the Holy Week break – train hard, train even harder – so, at least, on our last game we [can] finish our season with a win,” she added./ASC, WDJ
