Himamaylan City native Ryan Sermona failed to win the International Boxing Federation-Asia welterweight belt following his recent fourth round technical knockout loss to Indonesian boxer Rivo Kundimang in Jakarta, Indonesia.

The loss marks his third defeat in pursuit of an international belt.

Kundimang was dominant from the opening bell as he unloaded several combinations before the referee stepped in midway in the fourth round.

The result leaves the Negrense boxer with a 21-10-1 win-loss-draw record./ASC, WDJ
