STEM student crowned Sinigayan Queen 2019

 

Mecca Ella Barrios, a senior high school student in the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics, or STEM, track, was recently crowned Sinigayan Queen 2019, one of the highlights of Sagay City’s annual Sinigayan Festival.

She defeated eight other contestants, winning P25,000, a bouquet, trophy, and products from various sponsors.

En route to the crown, she was also awarded Miss Munsterific, Miss Camp Roma Garden Beach, Miss Dahling’s Diva, Miss Sagay Travel Land, Miss Brother AB Home Builder Inc., Miss Advocacy, Miss Negrense Swimwear, and Best in Festival Costume.

Meanwhile, finishing behind the 18-year-old resident of the city’s Barangay Poblacion 2 were Aliza Mae Bautista of Barangay Vito, who was named first princess; and Satrianne Batangas of Barangay Poblacion 1, who won second princess./WDJ

Aside from being named Sinigayan Queen, Mecca Ella Barrios also won Miss Munsterific, Miss Camp Roma Garden Beach, Miss Dahling’s Diva, Miss Sagay Travel Land, Miss Brother AB Home Builder Inc., Miss Advocacy, Miss Negrense Swimwear, and Best in Festival Costume.
