Cluster 5 wins street dance competition

The “Saot Para Sa Dunang Manggad,” a Sinigayan Festival dance contest between various Sagay City barangay clusters, saw Cluster 5, which was comprised of Barangays Fabrica, Paraiso, Malubon, Tadlong, and Himogaan Baybay, took home the title.

They bested four other clusters and won P50,000, along with P40,000 in special awards, including best choreography, best designer, and best props.

In addition, the cluster’s Sinigayan sa Sagay Hari and Hara, Ashley Mervin Cuesta and Jerah Dorio, swept the Best in Costume awards.

Cluster 2, composed of Barangays Poblacion 2, Poblacion 1, Taba-ao, and Old Sagay, come in second./WDJ
