Two foreign nationals, believed to be Americans, are currently being pursued by police after allegedly mauling a man early yesterday morning at a popular fast food establishment located along Lacson Street in Bacolod City.

Police identified the victim as 50-year-old Jude Michael Crisostomo, a resident of Metropolis Tower in the city’s Barangay Mandalagan.

Based on information provided by Crisostomo to Police Station 2 (PS2), he was inside the restaurant when he noticed the two suspects, who have yet to be identified, harassing two other customers.

He proceeded to intervene and told them to stop.

In a separate video forwarded to Watchmen Daily Journal, Crisostomo is seen trying to leave the fast food establishment when he was chased down by one of the suspects, who proceeded to assault him.

The incident was halted when employees intervened and brought the victim to the kitchen.

The suspects, meanwhile, uttered expletives at Crisostomo before leaving in a Nissan Sentra sedan with plate number FED 831.

The victim sustained several injuries to his face, which required several stitches.

He also sustained an eye injury.

PS2 noted, the suspects were believed to have been inebriated at the time of the incident. They also criticized the establishment’s security guard for not intervening./DGB, WDJ
