The San Carlos City Department of Health conducted a medical and dental outreach mission last Tuesday in the city’s Barangay Codcod.

According to the local public information office, the event was part of the barangay’s health center inauguration, which is located in the barangay’s Sitio Tuod.

The P1 million renovation project equipped the facility with a delivery room, labor room, midwife’s room, and comfort room.

City health officer, Dr. Arniel Laurence Portuguez, said over 200 local residents benefited from the program, with free medical checkups, tooth extractions, medicines, and vitamins./DGB, WDJ
