The Land Transportation Office-Region VI (LTO-6) recently denied allegations of irregularities connected with ongoing improvement projects.

“There is no truth to the allegations,” insisted LTO-6 Director Roland Ramos.

In response to claims made by a certain Elizalde Valdez, Jr., the regional LTO official affirmed, “I did not ask the complainant to purchase any materials.”

“May contractor d’yan at bakit naman ako magpapabili ng materials sa kanya (We have a contractor, why would I buy materials for them)?” he added.

Ramos believes Valdez is trying to discredit him, claiming the complainant is a fixer “conniving” with Romeo Muega, an LTO employee who is assigned as a “written examiner.”

The LTO-6 chief added, Muega has since been reassigned.

The projects in question surround repairs and improvements made to the existing Regional General Services Office; KBK Toilet, or the Kayo ang Boss Ko Toilet Facilities Improvement Project; and the proposed LTO-6 Finance Records Room./WDJ
