The Iloilo City Environment and Natural Resources Office (CENRO) and the City Engineer’s Office will be constructing playgrounds at different plazas throughout the city.

“This project will be very beneficial not just to the young ones but also to students and plaza-goers for they will enjoy the facilities,” said CENRO Plaza Supervisor Zosimo Villarosa, Jr. “We will be using imported and high quality-materials in building the facilities for the children’s playground.”

Installation of the playgrounds is scheduled to commence this month.

“I have already instructed the concerned departments to work on this project immediately,” assured Iloilo City Mayor Jose Espinosa III. “I want our plazas to be a place where Ilonggos can relax and enjoy, especially our children.”

Plaza Libertad, Molo Plaza, Jaro Plaza, and La Paz District Plaza will be the first to receive the project./WDJ
