Negros Occidental Provincial Capitol security head Venchito Magalona assured they have enough personnel when it comes to the transfer of some provincial government offices, which is being conducted while construction is going on at the current site of the Provincial Administration Center (PAC).
He pointed out, at present, Dynamic Builders and Construction Company Inc. (DBCCI), the contractor overseeing the project, has already assigned some security personnel at PAC.
Magalona added, some of the buildings where offices are being temporarily relocated already have security personnel in place, which means they will not have to deploy their own guards to those locations.
It was previously reported, a nine-storey mixed-use building called the Capitol Commercial Center will replace the PAC.
Last year, acting Negros Occidental Provincial Administrator, Dr. Lucille Gelvolea, confirmed DBCCI submitted an unsolicited proposal to construct the building, adding, the provincial government did not receive subsequent counter proposals from other firms./DGB, WDJ
