At least P10,000 worth of suspected shabu was seized Wednesday afternoon following a buy-bust operation in Barangay Orong, Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental.

Police identified the arrested suspect as 48-year-old Harold Javellana, a resident of the said neighborhood.

Kabankalan City police chief, Police Lt. Colonel Jonel Guadalupe, said they moved in on Javellana after he sold one sachet of suspected shabu to an undercover cop in exchange for P500.

A search further yielded seven sachets of suspected shabu and suspected drug proceeds amounting to P3,984.

Javellana faces illegal drugs charges and is detained at the Kabankalan City Police Station./DGB, WDJ
