Cignal-Ateneo bulldozes AMA in the D-League

The Cignal-Ateneo Hawkeyes returned to their winning ways in the 2019 PBA D-League after crushing the AMA Online Education Titans, 111-81, yesterday afternoon at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City.

Angelo Kouame came back from one-game absence to lead Cignal-Ateneo with 22 points, 15 rebounds, and four blocks.

Meanwhile, Bryan Jayson Andrade offered up 21 points, built on six three-point conversion; alongside Ilonggo Ferdinand ‘Thirdy’ Ravena III and William Navarro each adding 14.

Cignal-Ateneo started hot with a 9-0 start on three straight inside hits from Kouame before making it 27-9 game at the end of first period on shots from Ravena and Adrian Wong.

It soon turned into a wipeout for Cignal-Ateneo as they extended their lead to as much as 33 in the second half on outside hits from Andrade, Tyler Tio, and Joseph Matthew Nieto./ASC, WDJ
