BCPO to hold solidarity walk tomorrow

The Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) will hold a solidarity walk and covenant signing for peaceful elections tomorrow morning at the old Bacolod City Hall, located along Araneta Street.

In a statement by BCPO director, Police Colonel Henry Biñas, said the activity was organized in coordination with the Bacolod City Commission on Elections as the campaign period for local candidates starts in two weeks.

The said “Unity Walk” will start from the old Bacolod City Hall, passing along Araneta Street, and end at the Bacolod Public Plaza for a covenant signing.

All candidates running for positions in Bacolod City were invited to attend.

Several government and law enforcement offices will also participate in the event, along with members of the Diocese of Bacolod and the city’s Islamic community.

The statement further noted, the initiative will be conducted simultaneously with other police offices nationwide./DGB, WDJ
