UST Growling Tigers overturned a double-digit deficit earlier this week to score a 112-98 victory over Cignal-Ateneo Hawkeyes in the 2019 PBA D-League at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City.

Negrense Mark Nonoy led UST with 23 points, six rebounds, and three assists; while Rhenz Abando added 21 markers.

After being down by 15 points early in the opening half, UST slowly inched closer on hits from Abando, Nonoy, and Henri Lorenzo Subido for a 52-all halftime score.

UST gained the advantage in third quarter with inside hits from Soulemane Chabi Yo and outside conversions from Nonoy and Subido, resulting in their largest lead of 19 points./ASC, WDJ
