DOE forms task force to ensure stable power supply

Department of Energy-Visayas (DOE-Visayas) energy management division chief, Engr. Rey Maleza, yesterday revealed the regional department has organized “Task Force Election,” which includes power industry stakeholder among their members.

The group intends to ensure a stable power supply and provide necessary connections at all the voting places for the May 13 elections.

“We are mobilizing all the distribution utilities, transmission companies, and all the power generators to abide with the provisions on the Comelec (Commission on Elections) ruling to provide a stable supply of power before, during, and after the elections,” Maleza explained./DGB, WDJ
