Ateneo de Manila University (AdMU) recently captured the UAAP 3×3 basketball title after defeating the University of Santo Tomas (UST), 19-13, at the Ayala Malls Feliz in Pasig City.

AdMU jumped to a quick 6-2 lead on inside hits from Angelo Kouame. UST tried closing the gap but UST pulled away 13-7 on a dunk by Ferdinand ‘Thirdy’ Ravena III. The lead grew further to 17-9 on back-to-back hits by Matt Nieto and Kouame.

UST came as close as 17-13 on shots by Soulemane Chabi Yo and Rhenz Abando before Ravena sealed the win.
