Ceres-Negros FC recently sent defender Amani Aguinaldo to Malaysia Super League club PKNP FC on loan.

In a statement, the Bacolod City-based club said the move will provide the player “his chance to test his limits in the region’s second best league.”

While Aguinaldo will be unavailable for the Ceres FC’s upcoming AFC Cup matches, he is expected to return after a few months and may be available for the Negrense club’s later matches in the continental competition.

The former University of the Philippines player is entering his second season with the club. He previously played with Global FC and now-defunct Loyola Meralco Sparks FC./ASC, WDJ
