Nearly P500K worth of suspected shabu was confiscated early yesterday morning following a buy-bust operation at Purok Tangkong in Bacolod City’s Barangay 7.

Police identified the suspect as 21-year-old Rey Demonteverde, a resident of the said area.

Police Station 3 (PS3) commander, Police Major Ruel Culanag, said they recovered a total of 11 sachets of suspected shabu, the P500 buy-bust money, and suspected drug proceeds amounting to P1,000.

The illicit substance weighed 40 grams.
