The San Miguel Beermen cruised to its second straight win in the 2019 Honda PBA Philippine Cup after their 113-92 win over Magnolia Hotshots last Sunday at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Arwind Santos led the way with 29 points and seven triples for the Beermen, while Terrence Romeo and June Mar Fajardo added 23 and 22 points, respectively.

The Beermen opened the floodgates early on with an 18-2 scoring run behind Fajardo and Santos for a 28-12 edge. The Hotshots countered with a run in the second period to come to within 51-42 at the half.

In the second half, the Beermen pulled away anew with conversions from Alex Cabagnot, Marcio Lassiter, Santos, and Romeo for its biggest lead of the game, 24 points./ASC, WDJ
