Panaad to host Kaya FC home games

The Panaad Park and Stadium in Bacolod City will be playing host to Kaya FC-Iloilo home games in the 2019 AFC Cup.

In a statement released by the club yesterday, the Iloilo Sports Complex (ISC) in Iloilo City’s La Paz district was not approved by the AFC.

“Despite exhausting all efforts to prepare the venue, ISC remains short of the stadium standards required by [the] AFC,” they explained.

“Currently, the only available AFC-approved stadium in the Philippines is [the] Panaad Stadium,” the club added. “The Negros Occidental provincial government, along with Ceres-Negros FC, have been gracious in welcoming us.”

The Iloilo City-based club is currently drawn in Group H alongside Home United FC of the Singapore Premier League, current Lao Premier League champions Lao Toyota FC, and PSM Makassar of Indonesia’s Liga 1./ASC, WDJ
