Winners named in LOPTTA table tennis tournament

The Lopue’s Table Tennis Association (LOPTTA) hosted the Lopue’s-Bacolaodiat Table Tennis Invitational Championship over the weekend at the LOPTTA playing center, located at the Lopue’s San Sebastián annex building, where winners emerged in several events.

James Michael Tancinco won the 10-Under boys division, Jona Mae Gonzales won the 10-Under girls division, Dirk Nikhole Atilano – 13-Under boys, Micah Tanate – women’s open, Janley Manzanares – men’s open, Garry Trasporto – men’s executive, Timon Villanueva – women’s executive b, and Felipe Epitacio – veterans (60 and above).

Table tennis players from across Negros Occidental gathered in Bacolod City to join the competition.

The tournament, which is held in line with the ongoing Lunar New Year celebration, caters to the needs of table tennis players in the province by offering exposure to the sport and developing their skills./WDJ
