At least P350,000 worth of suspected shabu was seized during a Friday night buy-bust operation in Barangay Villamonte, Bacolod City.

Police identified the arrested as Robert Chon Oparil and John Paul Cordero, both residents of Purok Banauek in the said barangay.

Police Station 4 (PS4) anti-drug operatives arrested the two after they handed over one sachet of suspected shabu in exchange for P1,000.

Aside from the sachets of suspected shabu they recovered, cops also found am improvised 12-gauge shotgun and ammunition from the suspects.

Both suspects are facing illegal drugs and illegal possession of firearms charges, along violations to the Commission on Elections gun ban./DGB, WDJ
