undergo drug testing

Around 200 Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office (NOPPO) personnel underwent drug testing yesterday.

NOPPO director, Police Senior Superintendent Romeo Baleros, said drug testing was conducted on individuals who were due for promotions.

The NOPPO chief said drug testing was conducted across the region and Bacolod City Police Office up for promotions will also undergo the same testing.

The said drug test seeks to eliminate police “scalawags.”

Those who test positive will undergo confirmatory tests. If the second text comes out positive, the said individual could be held criminally and administratively liable./DGB, WDJ
