With this year’s Iloilo Dinagyang Festival closing over the weekend, Iloilo Dinagyang Foundation Inc. (IDFI) President Ramon Cua-Locsin said organizers will be taking the annual festival on the road.

“In the succeeding months, we will endeavor to bring Dinagyang to its first Philippine tour through participation in various festivals,” he explained.

The festival has previously traveled to destinations around the world.

In addition, the annual Aliwan Festival, which celebrates the country’s biggest festivals, has named the Dinagyang Festival as grand champion on several occasions./WDJ
