Former goalkeeper for Ceres-Negros FC Louie Michael Casas was recently added to the Kaya FC-Iloilo roster from Global Cebu FC, which he joined last year.

The 32-year-old goalie is expected to take over for Reffix Cuaresma, who has since been elevated to Kaya FC goalkeeping coach following his retirement.

Kaya head coach Noel Marcaida noted, they are still looking out for more free agents following midfielder Antonio Ugarte’s retirement and midfielder Miguel Tanton’s transfer to Ceres FC.

Aside from friendlies scheduled against Ceres-Negros FC and Malaysia Premier League club Sabah FA, the Iloilo City-based club opens their 2019 AFC Cup campaign against Lao Toyota FC in the group stage on February 27 at the New Laos National Stadium

Also drawn in Group H are Home United FC of Singapore and PSM Makassar from Indonesia.
