The University of the Philippines (UP) swept the Iloilo Private Schools Athletic Association (PRISAA) selection during a recent two-day exhibition.

UP opened the event with a 74-65 win at the City of Passi Arena on the first day and followed it up with a 78-66 triumph at the University of San Agustin gym the following day.

The Fighting Maroons started Game 2 with a 24-14 lead after the first quarter and eventually widening it to 44-22 at the half behind inside conversions from Ricci Rivero and Kobe Paras.

By the second half, UP established their largest lead at 60-34 before Iloilo PRISAA came up with late conversions to trim the final margin to 12 points./ASC, WDJ
