Amatera Renewable Energy Corporation (AREC) and Korean company TPC Construction Company (TPCC) signed a memorandum of understanding last week regarding the planned construction of a P2 billion solar plant in Barangay Vista Alegre, Bacolod City
AREC President Mary Grace Helene Buhain and TPCC President Su Bae-ji signed the memorandum on what will be the city’s first large-scale renewable energy project.
The plant will sit on 70-hectares of land in the said neighborhood.
Buhain added, once completed, the plant will hire locals./WDJ
