Bacolod City Mayor Evelio Leonardia is expected to appoint Vice Mayor El Cid Familiaran as acting mayor when he leaves later this week to attend the World Boxing Association welterweight title fight between Senator Manny Pacquiao and Adrien Broner in Las Vegas, Nevada in the United States.

The mayor pointed out, the city government will be providing several viewing sites in order for the public to watch the fight, which is scheduled for Sunday.

Among the areas include Barangays Banago, Sum-ag, Taculing, Handumanan, and Villamonte.

A viewing site will also be opened at the Bacolod BAYS Center./DGB, WDJ
