An 11 year old was killed following a fist fight with a 10 year old last Wednesday in Manapla, Negros Occidental.

Police refused to identify either party involved, but confirmed they are both residents of Barangay 1-A in the said town.

Based on investigations by the Manapla Municipal Police Station-Women and Children’s Protection Desk, the victim was riding a bike at a basketball court when they were confronted by the suspect.

The two allegedly got into a fist fight, which ended with the victim falling to the ground head first.

The victim was rushed to the Manapla Health Center and later to St. Anne’s Hospital in Cadiz City, where they later succumbed to their injuries.

The suspect was later apprehended and placed under custody of the Manapla Social Welfare and Development Office./DGB, WDJ
