Negros Occidental Governor Alfredo Marañon, Jr. yesterday told residents of the province to pray and give thanks as part of his New Year’s message.
In a press conference yesterday, he said, “Every individual in the province has his or her own resolution, which wishes for good health and prosperity for him or herself, for home, for the province, and for the whole country.”
“Pray and give thanks for the many blessings and grace you have received this year,” he added.
The governor said he projects a “more progressive” and peaceful Negros in 2019./DGB, WDJ
