A ‘lights-on’ ceremony was held over the weekend in La Castellana, where the Municipal Hall and the town’s public plaza were adorned with Christmas lights.

The event coincided with the opening of the Bailes de Luces, the town’s festival of lights, which is set to run until January 5.

Meanwhile, the “Light a Tree” contest also commenced, where six clustered schools in the municipality compete to win up to P100,000 in prizes.
